Summary
Mummy goat goes shopping. The seven little kids are left home alone. Will they escape the scheming wolf or get gobbled up? The Wolf And The Seven Little Kids is a great story to help you teach children about vigilance and the dangers of deception. It can be a little scary in places as the kids are fooled into the wolf's trap even after being warned by their mother, but of course the mother goat saves all of her precious kids in the end and everyone learns a very valuable lesson. Themes of good vs evil, overcoming challenges and family are also present throughout our retelling of The Wolf And The Seven Little Kids. The Brothers Grimm included a version of the Wolf And The Seven Little Kids in their collection of fairy tales in the early 19th century. However the folktale is believed to be a lot older and has been adapted and evolved over time.
