Welcome to Sooper Books. By creating an account or using our app, you agree to these terms.

## The service

Sooper Books is a children's audio app. We curate audiobooks, rhymes and original stories for kids, and deliver them through this app on iOS, Android, and Yoto devices.

## Your account

You need an account to play stories. You're responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything that happens on your account.

You must be 18 or over to create an account. Sooper Books is made for children, so the account holder is the parent or guardian: you set up the profiles for your children, you agree to these terms on their behalf, and you're responsible for any child who listens through your account.

## Subscription and the 7-day trial

Most features require a paid subscription. We currently offer a yearly plan with a 7-day free trial. The trial lets you and your child use everything, and you can cancel any time before the trial ends with no charge.

If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the subscription renews automatically at the advertised yearly price, and renews each year after that until you cancel. You can cancel any time. Your access continues until the end of the period you've paid for, and your subscription won't renew again.

You can cancel any time, including during the free trial before any payment is taken. The simplest way is the secure online portal run by our payments provider, Stripe: we email you a link when you start, with every receipt, and again as a reminder before your trial ends, so you can cancel yourself whenever you like. You can also contact our support team and we'll send you the link or cancel on your behalf. If you originally subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, manage or cancel that subscription in your Apple or Google account settings instead.

## Refunds

If you didn't mean to subscribe, or you change your mind soon after, get in touch via the in-app Contact screen and we'll help. For subscriptions bought through our website, we handle refunds directly. If you originally subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, those refunds are handled by Apple or Google, and you can use their built-in refund request.

## Billing

New subscriptions are purchased on our website and processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. If you subscribed earlier through the App Store or Google Play, that store processes your payment and tells us your subscription is active. Either way, you then sign in to the app on iOS, Android or Yoto to listen.

## Content

The stories, music, art and audio in Sooper Books are licensed to us or owned by us. You can't copy, share, broadcast or sell them. They're for personal use with your child.

## What we expect from you

- Use the app for the purpose it's built for: bedtime, journeys, quiet time.

- Don't try to reverse-engineer or scrape the audio.

- Don't share your account with people outside your household.

## Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Sooper Books account. We may suspend an account if it's being used in a way that breaks these terms.

## Liability

We work hard to keep the app stable and the catalogue available, but we can't guarantee zero downtime. Where the law allows, our liability is limited to what you've paid us in the last 12 months.

## Who we are and which law applies

Sooper Books is operated by Sooper Books Ltd, a company registered in England. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except where your local consumer law gives you rights that apply wherever you are.

## Changes

If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we'll let you know in the app or by email. Continued use means you accept the new terms.
