“You are a silly old Blobbo, swallowing up all your bath custard like that,” said Twinko.

“Yes, I am,” replied Blobbo, “but when you’ve got to yawn you’ve got to yawn. And when a great big yawn comes things just seem to end up in my tummy. That means there’s no bath custard for tomorrow!”

“Oh dear, does that mean you are going to the Bucket Cave?” asked Coco.

“And the Custard Lake?” asked Twinko.

“Yes, and we had better get going,” said Rocco. “Come on Blobbo, off we go.”

Blobbo and Rocco left the Oggle Café and walked down the Oggle Bubble Mountain. 

“Is the Bucket cave very far?” asked Blobbo.

“Well, it’s this far and a little bit more,” answered Rocco.

“Will we be there soon?” asked Blobbo, “Cos I’m a bit sleepy”.

“Oh yes, but we have to go through the Mushmallow Forest first, remember?’ said Rocco.

Yes, I did say mushmallows. They are like a cross between giant mushrooms and marshmallows. Some days when you eat them they make you whistle. On other days they can turn your tongue bright yellow and make your teeth go orange. 

They say that Riplats live in the Mushmallow Forest. You might see a quick shadow or a funny-looking tuft of grass. And Riplats look like, erm, let me see….. Put it this way, you will know a Riplat when you see one. They are just the naughtiest little creatures on the whole of Planet Ogg.

“Don’t you worry about Riplats, Blobbo, stick with me and you will be all right,” said Rocco.

Just then they came to the edge of the Mushmallow Forest.

Blobbo saw a tall, funny-looking tuft of grass, which was moving in the wind.

“Yes, that’s just its hair. Some Riplats live underground and that’s just its hair showing, you see. And no eating mushmallows because its orange teeth day today,” said Rocco.

“Oh, that’s a pity ‘cos I’m hungry,” said Blobbo, “but what about Riplats?”

“Don’t you worry about them! Just hold my hand, take a great big deep breath and off we go!“ said Rocco.

And off they set through the Mushmallow Forest and very soon they reached the other side where there was an Ogglebog-sized hole in a hill.

“You did it and not a single Riplat to be seen! Now this is the way into the Bucket Cave,” said Rocco, and in they went.

It was quite dark inside and they could hear the rattley, clattery sounds of buckets that were all hanging from the cave roof.

Rocco took down a bucket. “What about this one” he asked.

Rocco took down another one. “This one?” he asked.

As Rocco reached for a great big enormous bucket it fell off and with a crash it landed right on top of Blobbo.

Rocco started laughing hard because Blobbo did look a bit silly dancing about with a bucket for a hat.

“I didn’t mean to but you did look funny,” said Rocco.

“I suppose I did,” laughed Blobbo, “I wish I could have seen myself!”

Rocco took the bucket off Blobbo’s head and said, “Is this bucket big enough?”

“What are we going to do now?” asked Rocco, “I’ve forgotten.”

“Custard, remember?” laughed Blobbo, “we’ve come to get my bath custard, silly!”

“Oh yes, that’s right,” answered Rocco, “come on then, the Custard Lake is in here somewhere.”

By now their eyes had become used to the gloomy old Bucket Cave and they could smell custard in the air. 

“Just follow your nose, Blobbo and we will soon be able to fill up your bucket.”

Blobbo started sniffing and he sniffed and sniffed and followed his nose and next thing they knew they had arrived at the side of the Custard Lake. And the best thing was that they could see that it was just the right colour, purple.

“That was a bit of luck,” said Rocco, “now quick, fill up your bucket before the custard changes colour!”

Blobbo dipped his bucket deep into the lovely purple custard and filled it to the very brim.

“I’ll help you carry it,” said Rocco. They picked up the bucket together, went out of the Bucket Cave into the sunshine, crossed the Mushmallow Forest and were soon back in the Oggle Café.

Their friends Coco, Oddo, Beepo and Twinko were waiting for them.

“Did you find a bucket?” asked Twinko.

Blobbo and Rocco held up their bucket of purple custard, looked at each other and laughed.

“Well, it was the bucket that found me!” giggled Blobbo.

Far, far away, in deepest, darkest outer space is a very strange planet called Ogg. And the little aliens who live here are called Ogglebogs.

Now, you might well ask what in blazing bananas are Ogglebogs? Well, they are the friendliest little aliens you could ever find. Some are big, some small, some thin and some tall, some round and some fluffy. 

At the Oggle Café, bestest Ogglebog friends Rocco, Blobbo, Coco, Oddo, Beepo and Twinko, have just finished their favourite breakfast of Ogglecakes.

That morning Blobbo had been having a bath of purple custard when a great big yawn came and all of a sudden the custard had gone.
