Simon and Charlene made Dragons history last night, with their company Sooper Books, which gives access to their children’s book collection to parents for free. More then that they valued their company just for the Dragons at £100 pounds, and scooped all five Dragons investing £1 pound each for 1 percent. Remarkable tactics to get all five Dragons on board. I’ve been with them for years and Sooper books is a great audio book service for the kids. The stories, narrations, and the graphics are all at top level. They used to charge a reasonable subscription fee but they recently went totally FREE! This is a service I can recommend 100%.

How long are the stories?
Our stories typically range from 10-15 minutes, however, the fables and nursery rhymes can be as short as 2-3 minutes as these are designed for younger readers and listeners.
What is the age range?
Our stories are aimed at 2 - 10 year olds. There is an age tag available on each story to give you an indication of the interest or reading age.
We encourage all parents to challenge their children's reading development. So we always recommend trying out higher age categories. If the story seems a little challenging to begin with start with the narrated "Read to me" feature until your child becomes familiar with the words and can read it confidently by themselves.
What is 'Read myself', 'Read to me' and 'Audiobook'?
We have three reading modes—"Read myself", "Read to me" and "Audiobook"?
"Read myself" is the story text and illustration without any narration. You and/or your child will simply swipe down the page reading the text yourself and enjoying our wonderful illustrations.
"Read to me" is a fantastic way to help your child's reading independence by following the text as the narrator speaks. It's also a life-saver on those tired evenings when you just don't have the energy to read to aloud yourself.
"Audiobooks" simply play the narration without any visuals. They are perfect for car journeys, bedtimes and screen-free story time.
Is Sooper Books good for children?
Absolutely. Reading is one of the most beneficial activities a child can do, on or off screen. That is why it's our mission to create the world's best storybook experience and get kids reading for 20 minutes a day—the amount of daily reading time (over and above any academic work) that is recommended by experts for optimal development.
Research also shows that consistent reading can improve behaviour, mood, mental health, grades, future earnings and even our overall happiness. It is a precious skill that we should nurture in our children from an early age. The benefits are immeasurable.
