What is the short summary?

This classic fairy tale is about two children who get lost in a forest. The poor children stumble upon a gingerbread house. The candy house belonged to an evil witch. The wicked witch disliked naughty children and she quickly thought of a plan and seized Hansel. Poor Hansel was thrown into a cage, the evil witch intent on fattening him up to eat him. Hansel's little sister, Gretel began to think of a plan. Gretel knew that if the evil witch turned her back then she could outsmart her. When the time was right Gretel pushed the evil witch into the oven. The old witch was surprised, she couldn't believe two children could trick her. Then Gretel turned and unlocked the cage, Hansel threw open the door and then Hansel sprang free. The two children returned home safely.
