Chicken Licken, also known as Henny Penny, is a story which was prevalent in Europe and Asian folk tales for centuries. Many variations and adaptations lead to the creation of the Chicken Licken story we are familiar today in the 19th century, inspired by the documenting of folk tales in writing by the Brothers Grimm.
