It was a cosy winter's evening in the big smoke. Charlene and Simon were getting the house ready for an arrival. Goldie, the beautiful bump, would be here soon. While tussling with a flat-pack bookshelf and crates of books, the expecting duo had an idea.

What if, they said, we could carry these storybooks for Goldie wherever we went? And what if the stories she read were fresh, imaginative and curious, like us? Simon got writing. Charlene got drawing. And with a little push, Sooper Books, and Goldie, were born.
