A Pinocchio Audiobook Story
When Geppetto’s wish for a child is granted by the Blue Fairy, his puppet Pinocchio comes alive. Can Pinocchio ever be a real son? Pinocchio is a great story for discussing the consequence of lies and deceit with children. Every time Pinocchio tells a fib, his nose grows, he gives into temptation and his actions result in Geppetto being in danger. Pinocchio has to learn how to overcome these qualities and when he does, he is rewarded with his wish to be a real boy being granted. Themes of love and family are also important themes explored in our retelling of Pinocchio. The original Pinocchio was created by Carlo Collodi and appeared weekly in Giornale per i bambini, newspaper for children from 1880.
